This eight-week immersive course guides you through the entire process of designing and building a medium-sized piece of furniture, such as a coffee table, end table, shoe rack, or similar project. Come to the first class with an idea in mind, and we’ll work with you to refine your design and plan the steps to bring it to life.
You’ll learn how to select the perfect wood, with options to source locally through recommended lumber mills or through Soulcraft’s regular wood runs. Students are responsible for the cost of materials, but we’re happy to help facilitate your order and transport it for you.
Throughout the course, expert instructors will provide one-on-one guidance, ensuring you gain the skills and confidence to execute your vision. In addition to design and construction, you’ll receive hands-on training with all the essential shop tools, making this class ideal for both beginners and experienced makers ready to tackle more ambitious projects.
By the end of the class, you’ll have the option to rent shop time and space to continue developing your skills and working on future projects. And, as always, you’ll be surrounded by the Soulcraft community—ready to offer support, insight, and inspiration along the way.
